Earlier this year, liberal Jewish congressmen in both the U.S. House and Senate introduced a resolution calling on the President to "accurately characterize the systematic and deliberate annihilation of 1,500,000 Armenians as genocide", which is now up for consideration in the House. Some Jewish authors have questioned why more militant Zionist organizations like the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith failed to support them.

Why is it that the Congress has suddenly taken up this issue, especially when the predictable result would be the agitation of the Turkish government? Such a provocation is uncalled for -- unless the desired effect is further instability in the region. The House version (H.Res.106) says:

"In a series of courts-martial, officials of the Young Turk regime were tried and convicted, as charged, for organizing and executing massacres against the Armenian people. The chief organizers of the Armenian Genocide, Minister of War Enver, Minister of the Interior Talaat, and Minister of the Navy Jemal were all condemned to death for their crimes, however, the verdicts of the courts were not enforced...

[The] Honorable Henry Morgenthau, United States Ambassador to the Ottoman Empire from 1913 to 1916, organized and led protests by officials of many countries, among them the allies of the Ottoman Empire, against the Armenian Genocide"

However, the resolution fails to mention that the "Young Turks" revolution was led by a group of Masonic Zionist Jews:

"The founder of the Young Turks was an Italian B'nai B'rith official named Emmanuel Carasso. Carasso [a Jewish lawyer] set up the Young Turk secret society in the 1890s in Salonika, then part of Turkey, and now part of Greece. Carasso was also the grand master of an Italian Masonic lodge there, called "Macedonia Resurrected." The lodge was the headquarters of the Young Turks, and all the top Young Turk leadership were members...

Talaat was the interior minister and dictator of the regime during World War I. He had been a member of Carasso's Italian masonic lodge in Salonika. One year prior to the 1908 coup, Talaat became the grand master of the Scottish Rite Masons in the Ottoman Empire...

While in power, the Young Turks ran several newspapers, including The Young Turk, whose editor was none other than the Russian Zionist leader Vladimir (Ze'ev) Jabotinsky... The paper was owned by a member of the Turkish cabinet, but it was funded by the Russian Zionist federation, and managed by B'nai B'rith."

Jewish ambassador and Wall Street financier Henry Morgenthau received a Gold Medal award from the B'nai B'rith lodge in 1916 for his role, and wrote extensively about the events in Turkey:

"Let us not criticize too harshly the Young Turks, for there is no question that, at the beginning, they were sincere. In a speech in Liberty Square, Saloniki, in July, 1908, Enver Pasha, who was popularly regarded as the chivalrous young leader of this insurrection against a century-old tyranny, had eloquently declared that,

"To-day arbitrary government has disappeared. We are all brothers. There are no longer in Turkey Bulgarians, Greeks, Servians, Rumanians, Mussulmans, Jews. Under the same blue sky we are all proud to be Ottomans."

That statement represented the Young Turk ideal for the new Turkish state, but it was an ideal which it was evidently beyond their ability to translate into a reality."

In 1917, the Wilson administration granted a U.S. passport to Jewish revolutionary Leon Trotsky, who sailed from New York to join Lenin in the Bolshevik Revolution that October. A month later, Lord Rothschild accepted the "Balfour Declaration" from Lord Balfour (both members of the Masonic Royal Society) which set the stage for the eventual Zionist takeover of Palestine.

After the war, Young Turk propagandist Vladimir Jabotinsky founded the nationalist Betar Youth organization, forerunner of today's World Likud and its affiliates whose mission is to "see the vision of Ze'ev Jabotinsky fulfilled". That is, the creation of a Jewish State encompassing the entire territory of Eretz Israel.

"We cannot promise anything to the Arabs of the Land of Israel or the Arab countries. Their voluntary agreement is out of the question... Zionist colonization, even the most restricted, must either be terminated or carried out in defiance of the will of the native population. This colonization can, therefore, continue and develop only under the protection of a force independent of the local population -- an iron wall which the native population cannot break through. This is, in toto, our policy towards the Arabs."

Could it be that this latest bit of political theatre from the Zionist caucus, including Senators Lieberman, Schumer, Feinstein et. al., is simply another exercise in Ordo ab Chao in support of Jabotinsky's vision? Americans would do well to heed his words:

"As long as there is a spark of hope that they can get rid of us, they will not sell these hopes, not for any kind of sweet words or tasty morsels, because they are not a rabble but a nation, perhaps somewhat tattered, but still living. A living people makes such enormous concessions on such fateful questions only when there is no hope left."
