"A little learning is a
dangerous thing"

"During a private fundraiser earlier this year, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney told a small group of wealthy contributors what he truly thinks of all the voters who support President Barack Obama. He dismissed them as freeloaders who pay no taxes, who don't assume responsibility for their lives, and who think government should take care of them:

"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president [Obama] no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are 'entitled' to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that's an entitlement, and the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what... My job is not to worry about those people [Obama voters]; I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives...

When you say, "Are you disappointed that his policies haven't worked?" they say yes. And because they voted for him, they don't want to be told that they were wrong, that he's a bad guy, that he did bad things, that he's corrupt... Fifty percent of kids coming out of school can't get a job... Fifty percent of the kids in high school in our 50 largest cities won't [even] graduate... What are they gonna do?"

Romney is being attacked for calling a spade a spade, by the defenders of the bankrupt socialist system. Is America going to be a nation of workers and producers, or a nation of bureaucrats and freeloaders? That is the question.

"An estimated 45 million Americans received food stamps in 2011, at a cost of $78 billion. That's a twofold increase from just five years ago when 26 million people received benefits at a cost of $33 billion... The 2002 Farm Bill expanded eligibility to non-citizens, increased benefits for families with more children, adjusted benefits for inflation and made it easier to enroll."

"Food stamps for able-bodied adults without dependents were limited to three months in a 36-month period unless the participant in the program 'works at least 20 hours a week...' [but] President Obama suspended that rule when he signed his economic stimulus legislation into law, and the number of these adults on food stamps doubled, from 1.9 million in 2008 to 3.9 million in 2010

Here are some YouTube videos celebrating the hedonistic, dysfunctional entitlement culture and the magic EBT debit card. For these people, adolescence becomes permanent: no education, no job skills, no self-discipline required. Someone else does the work and pays the bills. Obama even gives them free cell phones!

The cost also includes the bloated bureaucracy required to service these "clients", starting with the failed public schools, the human services offices, the police forces, and the prisons. Throw in another half trillion for the annual interest payment and an additional trillion for the cost of socialist regulations.

This debt-based game cannot continue forever. What will happen in the "50 largest cities" when the $16 TRILLION dollar federal debt pyramid finally implodes?

UPDATE: Obama appeared on a popular TV show and dodged the question about how his administration has added $6,000,000,000,000 to the national debt in less than 4 years.
