Mob Destroys Ebola Center In Liberia Two Days After It Opens

"West Point [in Monrovia, Liberia] is becoming a hot spot in the biggest Ebola outbreak in history. It’s an 'informal community', a slum with no running water or toilets. People can live seven or more to a single dwelling, and the density is dangerous...Today, things got even worse. A mob descended on the holding center at around 5:30 p.m., chanting, “No Ebola in West Point!” They stormed the front gate and pushed into the center. They stole the few gloves someone had donated this morning, and the chlorine sprayers used to disinfect the bodies of those who die here, all the while hollering that Ebola is a hoax. They ransacked the protective suits, the goggles, the masks. They destroyed part of director Tarplah’s car as he was fleeing the crowd.

Jemimah Kargbo, a health care worker at a clinic next door, said they took mattresses and bedding, utensils and plastic chairs. “Everybody left with their own [sic] thing,” she said. “What are they carrying to their homes? They are carrying their deaths.” She said the police showed up but the crowd intimidated them... Kargbo said the staff at the clinic have no protective gear. They were already afraid about treating possible Ebola patients, and the riot means more infections as escaped sick patients infect their families, and as looters sleep on mattresses where the Ebola-infected have died."

Looters in Ferguson Strike Again

"The city of Ferguson, Missouri has descended into chaos again as [black] rioters have broken into and looted multiple businesses -- even assaulting journalists and citizens who have stood up to them and protected the buildings from further destruction... Many observers feared the night would end in a violent clash, but shortly after 1:00 am local time, several individuals began damaging stores and taking merchandise. The targets included the Ferguson Market & Liquor, the convenience store where Mike Brown allegedly stole cigars and 'roughed up' an employee [prior to his fatal confrontation with police last week]."

"Several protesters smashed kerb stones to throw at police, while others threw stones and shouted abuse at a wall of advancing officers. One man threw a Molotov cocktail [firebomb] at a boarded-up Asian restaurant... Protesters chanted “no justice, no curfew” and “we are Mike Brown” as they gathered at midnight at one end of the street where unrest has centred. Dozens of officers, some carrying assault rifles, were still poised at the other end more than half an hour after the curfew began."

West Point is an African slum where the people live in squalor and actual poverty. Their ignorance is compounded by the threat of a deadly and contagious disease, causing them to respond in an irrational and self-destructive manner.

Ferguson is a suburb of a major American city where the people live in relative abundance, with houses, cars, liquor stores, free education, free food, and free health care. Yet, Ferguson is also in the grip of a deadly and contagious disease, the symptoms of which are on display for all to see. This disease is endemic and largely self-inflicted; the cure will be difficult.

Michael "Big Mike" Brown was another aspiring rapper, with hits like "Shit Talka", "We Don't Play", and "Body Bag". He discovered that armed police officers in high-crime neighborhoods "don't play" either, and that it doesn't take much to set them off. In the final analysis, he was another victim of the violent gangsta subculture which encourages young punks to feel "disrespected", despite the wealth and opportunity their African cousins can only dream of. Whenever they act out their degenerate hip-hop fantasies, it provides the perfect excuse to impose the long-planned totalitarian police state and to strip away the pretense of "civil rights".

Who promotes this? Who benefits?

UPDATE: The incompetent Liberian government decided to use military force to close off West Point in an attempt to prevent the spread of the disease throughout the rest of the city. However, no plans were made to provide food and water to the thousands trapped inside, which only increased their desperation. Three protestors were shot and one killed, before the unworkable quarantine was lifted several days later.
